Incinerators are used by environmentally sensitive municipalities and industrial facilities that produce dangerous attacks. The design of incinerators has two chambers: the primary chamber and the secondary chamber. The primary chamber in a rotary kiln incinerator consists of a curved refractory lined cylindrical tube. The movement of the cylinder around its axis facilitates the movement of waste. In the primary chamber, the solid wastes are converted into gases through the evaporation, destructive distillation and partial combustion reactions of the fraction. In the secondary chamber, these harmful gases are completely burned at 1200-1500 degrees to complete their reaction.
The remaining burning ash and slag comes out from the end of the rotary kiln. A long flue gas stack, fan or steam jet provides the necessary draft. Ash falls from the grate, but many particles are carried along with the hot gases and are incinerated in the Secondary chamber.
